Mansfield Cares is the single largest annual supporter of Mansfield’s many active community charities and wellness programs. The organization built and funded the inception of the Caring Place Clinic (which provides free medical, dental, and vision care to those in need) and the Mansfield Food Bank, which now serves as Harvesting International Ministries Headquarters.
It also awards fifty scholarships per year to MISD seniors, partners with Common Ground Network in its Back to School and Angel Tree Programs, and also with the Helping Hands/Wesley Mission Center Family Assistance Program.
Their biggest fundraiser of the year is coming up. The 20th annual Charity Ball is scheduled for February 23 at Walnut Creek Country Club. There will be plenty of food, live and silent auctions, cash bar, and a live band. It really is a fun night.
Mansfield Vision Center is so appreciative of the Mansfield Cares organization, and would like to express our gratitude to all the members of that organization who work so hard to make sure the needs of the less fortunate in our city are met. If you would like more information about them, or to purchase tickets to the Charity Ball, visit www.MansfieldCares.org.
